Bampton saloon car racer Alex Dew has his sights firmly set on this year’s BMW Compact Cup Championship.
The 28-year-old finished third in last year’s championship and is determined to go two places better.
Dew begins testing at the start of next month ahead of the first round at Donington GP on Sunday, March 30.
And he said: “I’m extremely excited about this year’s championship knowing we have such a strong package going into the season.
“Last year’s third in the championship was a fantastic effort by everyone involved, with consistency being the key factor to our success.
“We’ve made big steps forward with this year’s car, so have every chance of achieving our goals.”
Dew has been boosted ahead of this year’s championships after securing backing from torch manufacturer LED Lenser UK.
