Oxford City remain on top of the Oxford Mail Girls League Under 12 section following a crushing 5-0 success over Kidlington Hawks.

City led 1-0 at the break but emerged stronger in the second period with goals from Amanda Osorobonacy (2), Emily Green, Georgia Moore and Lanaya Ward.

Crowmarsh took closer order at the summit, moving into second place with a 4-0 victory at home to Tower Hill Vixens.

Sophie Luchford (2), Lily Norrington and Maisy Thomas were on target for Crowmarsh.

Summertown Stars romped home 6-0 against a Thame Dolphins side playing their first competitive match in the Under 10 section.

Thame restricted their rivals to just one goal in the opening half, but had no answer to Anna Hamerow who banged in four with Lulu Von Pander getting a brace.

The stand-out player for Thame was Assia Storey, who was strong in both defence and attack.
