LEWIS Howlett-Carpenter scored a dramatic winner as Oxford City lifted the Under 10 Knockout Cup with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Summertown Stars Wanderers.

Howlett-Carpenter headed home a Charlie Fegan cross just two minutes before the full-time whistle to give City victory.

Mac Rivers fired Summertown into a first-half lead, only for Callum Lucas to equalise after the break following a solo run.

But with penalties looming, Howlett-Carpenter popped up to score the winner.

The game could have been settled much earlier in City’s favour, but they were kept at bay by Summertown keeper George Owen, who made at least five super saves to keep out what looked certain goals.
