THE Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships will take place at Harwell on Sunday, March 2, organisers have confirmed.

Originally scheduled to run in conjunction with round three of the Oxford Mail League on January 5, both events were postponed due to flooding at the venue in Warmington.

Now the county championships will be held alongside the final round of the Oxford Mail League at RAL Harwell.

Meanwhile, round three of the Oxford Mail League will not be rescheduled.

This means individual standings will be based on athletes’ best three races out of four.

Round four of the Oxford Mail League takes place at Cirencester Park on Sunday, February 2.
