Oakley United stayed top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division despite a 1-0 defeat at Stonesfield on Saturday.
The only goal of the game arrived on 22 minutes when Johny Richards was allowed to drift in to head home from close range following a set-piece delivery from Nick Higgs.
Oakley tried to get back in the game after the break, but failed to penetrate a resilient Stonesfield defence.
Bletchingdon had to settle for a share of the spoils in a 1-1 home draw against Chalgrove.
The impressive Craig Hanlon nodded in Adam Wells’ corner after 25 minutes for the hosts.
But Chalgrove equalised in first-half injury time via the impressive Nick Skiller.
In Division 1, Charlton United fought back from a goal down to beat Kidlington Old Boys.
Dijon Whiteman gave Old Boys the lead with a cool finish after a mistake from the Charlton back line.
However, Daniel Sweeney slammed in the equaliser.
Ash Mcllrath put the home side ahead two minutes later with a confident side-footed finish from 18 yards.
The hosts poured more misery on their local rivals when a delivery from veteran Ritchie Knight from a corner was stabbed home by Matt Hillsdon.
Charlton Res drew 3-3 at Watlington Res in their Division 3 encounter.
Frazer Wilson rattled in a treble for Watlington, but Chris Stalker (2) and Kieran Cross ensured a share of the spoils.
Launton Sports Res went down to a 2-1 extra-time defeat at home to Adderbury Res in the Clarendon Cup second-round tie.
Kyle Forbes and Ashley Wingrove won it for Adderbury, with Mark Scanes replying.
