Oxford City rider Ed Gronbech clinched his second Wessex Cyclocross League title in successive years in commanding style.
Gronbech destroyed his rivals, winning by more than two minutes in Southampton to capture the Under 16 crown – 12 months after taking the under 14 honours.
The 14-year-old set a commanding pace, opening up a lead on the first lap of more than 90 seconds over Charlie Cooper (Chapel Tri-Stars) and eased to victory.
Gronbech, who finished 23rd out of 60 in the British Under 16 Youth Championships in Derby, will be aiming to do better next year when he is also eligible in this age group.
