Declan O’Brien fired a five-timer as Bampton Town Youth won 5-1 at home to Bloxham in the Under 10 Red League.

Ted Allen replied for the visitors, but it was in vain.

Josh Howell netted a quick-fire double as Eynsham Youth won 3-1 at home to Deddington Town Colts in the White League.

Howell struck twice in the first 11 minutes to set Eynsham on the way, before Harry Harraway sealed victory with a stunning shot in the second half.

Will Mansfield pulled one back for Deddington.

Stuart Howlett’s double helped Banbury Irish end hosts Launton Boys’ winning streak with a 4-1 victory in the Under 15 A League.

Loic Radegonde and Joe Squerelle completed Banbury’s tally, with Zarius Edwards-Giraud replying.

Samuel Brittain hit a hat-trick as Highfield Juniors reversed last week’s Knockout Cup defeat by Deddington Town Sharks with a 5-2 home win in the Under 11 Green League.

Samuel Rearce, Jacob Chambers also netted for Highfield, with Tom Haynes and Lucas Luna replying.

CARTERTON have been selected to host Arsenal’s development academy at Kilkenny Lane from January 2014.

Free trial sessions for under 7-13s will be held on January 7 and 14, followed by training every Tuesday evening, with games at half term.

Sessions will be: under 7-10s 6-7.30pm, and under 11-13s 7.30-9pm.
