Bicester got back on track with a 36-8 home success against Chipping Norton in Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division on Saturday.
Having seen a four-match winning run ended the previous week, two tries from No 8 Dan Spencer helped Bicester return to form.
Hooker Jake Holdsworth broke two tackles to score the hosts’ opening try, converted by scrum half Steve Risbridger.
Former Bicester fly half James Blake reduced the arrears for Chippy with a penalty.
Tries from prop Dave Behan, who was later sin-binned, Spencer, and replacement Oscar Page – with his first for Bicester – plus two Risbridger conversions, made it 26-3.
Flanker Tom Phillips went over for Chippy, but tries from centre Chris Harley and Spencer wrapped it up for Bicester.
On Saturday, Bicester travel to Gosford All Blacks. Alchester managed a four-try bonus point from a 40-28 defeat at high-flying Thatcham in Southern Counties North.
Dan Kimber led the way with a try brace, while Souava Rakikiki and Adam White also crossed over.
Tom Miles added four conversions.
This weekend Saturday, Alchester host Aylesbury.
