MARSTON Saints remarkably recovered a 4-1 deficit, scoring in the last minute to earn a 5-5 draw at Crowmarsh Tigers in the Under 13 C League.
The home side started well, Aidan Ollenbuttel scoring a first-half hat-trick and Sam Brookfield also netting to give Tigers a 4-2 lead at the break.
Saints hit back and levelled at 4-4, but Henry Sharples appeared to have given Crowmarsh victory with a late goal only for Marston to again strike back from a last-minute goalmouth scramble.
Daniel Coaks and David Oke both scored twice for the visitors, while Jamar Smith was also on target as Saints extended their unbeaten run to six games.
Zac Jones hit an impressive hat-trick for Crowmarsh Youth as they beat Summertown Comets 6-1.
Elliott Wilson gave the hosts an early lead, but Comets levelled just moments later through Sam Matthews.
That stung the home side into action and they went on to bag another five goals, Calum Carrigan and Patrick Bates adding to Jones’ treble.
Hinksey Park are still looking for their first B League point after losing 3-1 to Drayton Wasps.
Jake Calvert netted for Hinksey, with Joey Bridgeman (2) and Harry Robson scoring for the visitors.
A late flurry of goals saw Northway come from behind to beat Quarry Rovers 4-1 in the Under 15 C League, having fallen behind early on to a strike from Ethan Green.
Substitute Moehtedy Qurnass equalised midway through the second half, sparking a deluge of goals.
Malcolm Webb, Julian Maher and Mazin Mohammed ensured the home side took the three points.
