ALMOST £10,000 was given to charity at the final Five Star Events tournament of the year.
Oxford United legend Jeremy Charles, who scored in the 1986 Milk Cup final, was the guest of honour at the Tony Buck Cup.
Studley Wood pairing Paul Fitzgerald and Hans Menzel were the best-placed Oxfordshire team, finishing second at Frilford Heath.
They returned with 46 points, one behind winners Gordon Russell and John Willis, from Staverton Park in Northamptonshire.
After the tournament, president Graham Hobbins handed over cheques of £7,500 to Oxfordshire respite nursing charity ROSY and £2,000 to Riding for the Disabled.
It took Five Star’s total donations to more than £76,000, while Richard Pineo paid a tribute to their former president, Ray Hawes, who died recently.
