EQUESTRIAN: Oxon's Agnew shines at Blenheim

Oxfordshire's Charlotte Agnew was the leading British rider after the first day of dressage in the Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials yesterday.
The 25-year-old from Kingston Bagpuize, riding Out Of Africa, was in third place with 44.2 penalty points.
There was an excellent display from Owen Moore, from Lyneham, near Chipping Norton.
Riding Perfect Stranger, Moore was ninth with 49.2 penalties.
Leading the way was American Clark Mongomery.
Oxon’s other competitor Ginny Howe (Eires Rock), from Murcott, near Kidlington, is riding in today’s dressage.
The testing cross country is tomorrow, with the final show jumping stage on Sunday.
