ENGLAND have the chance to gain revenge on Wales for their Six Nations humbling with a match at Iffley Road.
The countries’ under 16 teams will do battle at Oxford University’s home ground at 2.30pm on Saturday, April 6.
And there will be added local interest with England coached by Peter Coke (Abingdon School) and Mark Hanslip (St Edward’s School, Oxford).
Tickets for the match are £5 for adults and £2 for concessions. Call 01865 43200 or visit ourfc.org.
- OXFORD University Greyhounds hope to boost their Oxfordshire Cup final support by holding a reunion on the day.
The Greyhounds face Chinnor 2nd on Sunday, April 21 in their first county final since 1979 – they have won the trophy once in 1976.
Having won their last ten second-team Varsity matches against Cambridge University’s LX Club, they hope to complete a double on their home turf.
Former players are invited to a lunch in the pavilion from 12noon.
