CRICKET: New women's competition

Six clubs will battle it out in the inaugural Oxfordshire Women’s Midweek League this summer.
Banbury, Charlbury and Freeland line up in Group 1, while Moreton, Oxford and Wittenham form Group 2.
Matches will be played on a home-and-away basis on Tuesday evenings.
The respective group winners, runners-up and third-placed teams will then face each other on finals day at Charlbury on Sunday, September 1.
