RACING: Va'Vite wins it

Va'Vite made a winning debut over hurdles for Tony Middleton’s Granborough stables, near Grendon Underwood, with a game success at Bangor.

The six-year-old, a 12-1 shot, ran on well to beat Cevaro by a length and three-quarters in a mares’ novices’ hurdle over two miles and a furlong under James Banks.

Now Middleton is set to run Va’Vite in the EBF Mares’ Final at Newbury on Satur-day, March 23.

Part-owner Diane Dewbury said: “I’m delighted with her, she ran beautifully.”
