FOOTBALL: Holders North Leigh KO'd by Thame

HOLDERS North Leigh are out of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup after a 2-1 defeat at home to Thame United in Tuesday night’s quarter-final.

Matt Hall and Niall Hodgkins netted for the home side early in the second half before North Leigh pulled a goal back via Tom Franklin with five minutes left.

Thame face Oxford City in the last four.

Didcot Town went down 2-1 to a controversial late goal at Yate in Division 1 South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League.

Matt Groves gave the home side a half-time lead, Didcot levelling through Elliott Osborne-Ricketts.

Didcot had a goal disallowed before Karim Rendell, looking a yard offside, scored the winner on 84 minutes.

Didcot keeper Marcos Belloli-Pereira was sent off for a foul in stoppage time.
