St Leonard’s Primary School (Banbury) are dreaming of playing at Wembley after being crowned Oxford United champions in the npower Football League Under 13 Kids Cup.

Harry Godden hit a sparkling hat-trick as they beat Dr Radcliffe Primary School (Steeple Aston) in the U’s final at the Kassam Stadium before Oxford’s goalless draw against York City on Saturday.

Tomasz Sroda was also on target for St Leonard’s, who emerged victorious from more than 50 teams in the United competition.

They now go on to represent Oxford in the Southern final hosted by AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre, Kingston Upon Thames, on Thursday, March 14.

And the winners there will face the Northern champions before the npower League Two play-off final at Wembley on Sunday, May 18.
