Vale of White Horse Under 13s paid the price for missed chances as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Luton in their Meeson Trophy opener at Milton United.
Jack Buchanan, James Spruyt and George Carder were all off target, before Kyle Ojay gave Luton the lead in the second half after Vale’s defence failed to clear.
Vale’s fate was sealed when Will O’Leary hit Luton’s second goal ten minutes from time.
