Beth Cammegh fired Bicester 2nd ahead in their 2-1 win against Maidenhead 3rd
Bicester Ladies got back to winning ways in Trysports Three Counties League Premier 2 with a 2-0 home victory against Wycombe 2nd at the Cooper School.
The hosts started strongly and took a first-half lead when midfielder Gina Girvan found the net.
After the break, Bicester kept up the momentum and Kath Crook intercepted a poor Wycombe pass before making it 2-0 with a powerful shot.
Kelly Holt scored the winner as Bicester 2nd edged to a 2-1 success at home to Maidenhead 3rd in Division 2.
After resisting intense pressure from the visitors, Bicester took the lead.
Hailey Mitchell’s surging run was ended by the keeper, with Beth Cammegh calmly putting away the resulting penalty flick.
However, a loss of concentration saw Maidenhead grab an equaliser before the break.
Bicester picked up the pace in the second half and it was no surprise when they made it 2-1. Amy Olah and Chelsea Cochrane combined to set up Holt, who slotted home.
Nobby Styles and Johnny Winspear netted doubles as Bicester 3rd crushed Henley 4th 6-0 in their MBBO Open Division 9 encounter.
Bicester went ahead when Chris Birch tapped home from close range following a penalty corner, and they doubled their lead when Steve Birtles’ pass allowed Graham Harman to finish cooly from close range.
After the break, Bicester kept up the pressure, with Styles and Winspear’s hauls completing a comprehensive victory.
