Oxford Health & Racquets boosted their claims for a place in the Premier Squash League play-offs with a crushing 5-0 win at AJP Pontefract in Group A.
The visitors took full advantage of the Yorkshire side missing three key players to reduce the gap on leaders Duffield, from Derbyshire.
Wins by Madeline Perry, Mark Cairns, Ben Coleman and Scott Handley led to a top-string showdown between home club hero Lee Beachill, the now-retired former world No 1, and Spaniard Borja Golan, the new world No10.
And Golan proved too strong, winning 11-4, 11-9, 11-7 to keep Oxford's qualifying hopes alive.
AJP Pontefract 0, Oxford Health & Racquets 5 (Pontefract first): L Beachill lost to B Golan 4-11, 9-11, 7-11; T Mohohlo lost to S Handley 7-11, 7-11, 9-11; S Wileman lost to B Coleman 7-11, 5-11, 4-11; A Hodgetts lost to M Cairns 10-12, 6-11, 3-11; S Kippax lost to M Perry 3-11, 8-11, 11-7, 9-11.
