Adam Buxey scored the winner as Bicester got the second half of their season off to a flier with a 4-3 win at fellow promotion challengers Wokingham in MBB&O Division 1 on Saturday.

Bicester went ahead when Stu Moore tackled a Wokingham defender on the halfway line before releasing Jonny Reid who found the net with a clinical strike into the bottom corner.

Adam Drewitt doubled Bicester’s lead with a cool finish into the corner after good work from Andy Brown and Reid.

Although Wokingham pulled one back after the break, Reid made it 3-0.

However, Wokingham clawed one back before levelling four minutes from time.

But the visitors weren’t to be denied, Buxey lifting the ball over the keeper after fastening onto a mis-hit shot from Reid.
