FOOTBALL: New chief Donovan relishes Witney role

Witney Town’s new chairman Dave Donovan says he is relishing the challenge at the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club.
He takes over following the resignation last month of Stuart Pike. “I am immensely proud to have the opportunity to chair Witney Town,” he said.
“And will be looking to stabilise the club on both the financial and organisational sides.
“There is plenty of work to be done, but I am looking forward to the challenge presented.”
Meanwhile, Kidlington welcome back the fit-again duo of Jimmy Deabill and Aaron Posey when they travel to Highworth Town, looking for their fourth victory on the spin tomorrow.
They are without defender Christian Turner who is on duty with the Oxfordshire Under 18 team.
Headington Amateurs will be without Aaron Williams and Paul Hedger (injured), plus the suspended Tom Payne for their Division 1 East trip to Easington Sports.
