OXFORDSHIRE’S Troy Dixon won the David Lloyd Heston 16 & under regional tournament.
Success for the Banbury ace came just days after he reached the last eight of the national winter 16 & under tournament at Goslings Tennis Centre in Hertfordshire.
Dixon lost to No 1 British junior Adam Glynn, from Dorset.
Abingdon’s Connor Ferguson won the 10 & under regional event at Halton, which should book his place in the upcoming Winter National tournament.
Meanwhile, Benedict Yorston, from Radley, won the 12 & under Grade 4 boys’ event Abingdon’s White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre.
There were also wins for local players Bobby Gosling (18&U boys), Max Heath (16&U boys), Ellie Vincent (16&U girls), Raia Jagger (12&U girls) and Chloe Elliott (9&U girls).
