TOBY Pope, 32, and his dad Steve, 60, from Abingdon, found a quiet eddy on the Thames near their home and enjoyed some excellent roach fishing despite the flooded conditions.
Toby (pictured) caught 18lb of them, the best going 1.6.0. All fell to pole-fished breadpunch.
Said Steve: “We felt lucky to catch anything in these conditions, but we both did very well and had a good day’s fishing.”
