ICE HOCKEY: Stars chase cup shock

OXFORD City Stars bid to spring a surprise when they entertain Division 1 leaders Romford Raiders in the NIHL Cup South Group 2 tonight (5pm).
Stars, who should be at full strength, will be in action for the first time since thrashing Chelmsford Warriors 5-0 last month.
Oxford’s Jeff Sykora said: “It’s going to be a tough match, but there’s always something to learn in these matches against higher-league opposition as it gives us a chance to work on our game and develop.
“With such a young, Oxford-based side that we have this season, it’s an ideal chance to test our players against a quality outfit.”
