FOOTBALL: Weedon is set for Kidlington return

Kidlington defender Chris Weedon is set to end more than a year of injury misery when they host Highmoor Ibis in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division at Yarnton Road tomorrow.

Weedon hasn’t played since November 2011 when he suffered a knee ligament injury at Headington Amateurs in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

Skipper Danny Mason, Tom Austin and James Philpott are added to the squad, while striker Jimmy Deabill is back after injury.

Ryan Curtin and Jordan Tabor miss out because of suspension.

Headington Amateurs will be without Paul Hedger (knee) and Tom Payne (suspended) when they host Didcot Town Res in Division 1 East.

David Lester should return after missing the 4-0 Boxing Day win at AFC Hinksey because of illness.
