Substitute Matty Taylor hit the winner from 25 yards as Oxford United triumphed 4-3 at Kettering in the Brett Solkhon Testimonial on Monday night.

United had led three times through Danny Rose, a Barry Quinn header and Phil Trainer's 35-yard thunderbolt only for Kettering to find an equaliser on each occasion.

Oxford Utd: Plummer, Sampson (Anaclet HT, Groves 70), Quinn (Day HT), Clarke (Bennett 75), Coulson, Deering, Hutchinson, Trainer (Benjamin HT), Rose, Ledgister (Fower 75), Odubade (Fisher HT, Taylor 70).
