A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in an alley in Bicester last night. 

The victim, in her forties, was walking between Kestrel Way and Swansfield, Langford Village, at about 10.45pm when she was grabbed by a man and pushed to the ground. 

She managed to kick the man who then ran off. He's described as white, in his early thirties, approximately 5ft 9ins to 6ft 4ins, and was wearing a dark zip-up hooded top, dark jeans and white trainers.

Investigating officer Det Sgt Mike West, from Oxfordshire Force CID, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at around the time of the incident.

“This was a frightening experience for the victim and officers are investigating the circumstances to attempt to locate the offender as soon as possible.

“Anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

“Patrols are taking place in the area and anyone with any concerns can approach and speak to an officer or call the neighbourhood team on 101.”
