VISITORS to the Pitt Rivers Museum can attend a special event on Saturday as pigeons will be welcomed inside.
Pigeon whistle performer Nathaniel Mann will be heading along to the museum with ‘Pigeon Pete’ and his Birmingham Rollers to talk to visitors.
The museum is home to the rare 3D printed pigeon whistle, which the performer created as part of a BBC Radio 4 documentary alongside ‘Pigeon Pete’ last year.
This whistle has now been added to the Pitt Rivers Museum’s rare collection of pigeon whistles and to mark this the pair will give exclusive talks and play clips from the documentary from 1pm.
