Dozens of firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a stately home in Devon.
Fire engulfed Sydenham House in Okehampton at around 4pm on Wednesday.
The historic building has four floors, with the whole of the roof and half of the first floor hit by the fire.
More than a dozen crews from across Devon and Cornwall were called to the scene.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said part of the building was at risk of collapse.
Crews used water from a river and lake adjacent to the house to fight the blaze, while those in the building were evacuated. Everyone had been accounted for, said the fire service.
It is not thought that the fire spread to the staff cottages on the estate.
