THE new leader of Oxfordshire County Council has made his first blog post in the role.
Former leader Keith Mitchell’s blog was known for its controversial takes on hot topics.
New leader, Conservative Ian Hudspeth, said he will also maintain a blog and, in his first post yesterday, said of cuts being made by the authority: “There will be difficult decisions and issues ahead and there will be ups and downs similar to those experienced by those who will be competing in this summer’s sporting events.”

Rather less a blog by the Leader of Oxfordshire County Council than a blog by a junior member of the Conservative party.
Perhaps his blog could set out what he intends to do in Oxfordshire than praising the Prime Minister.
