A WOMAN caught with a stash of class A drugs at a Bicester B & B has been spared jail.

Amie Dibba, of Sheelin Grove, Milton Keynes, had already admitted two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs - crack cocaine and heroin.

Oxford Crown Court heard at her sentencing today that the 21-year old was first stopped by police at an address at Wadham Close, Bicester, on December 30 2016.

Police initially found a single wrap of crack cocaine on her person but on further investigation found a set of keys to a nearby bed and breakfast.

When they searched her room they found a stash of drugs including 32 wraps of crack cocaine and 39 wraps of heroin.

The drugs carried a street value of roughly £930, the court heard, and officers also seized £530 in cash.

Sentencing, Judge Ian Pringle QC accepted that Dibba was "a custodian" of the drugs for her then partner and that her role in any dealing did not go higher up the chain than that.

He said: "You pleaded guilty on the basis that you had allowed your boyfriend to put some of his property, including drugs and cash, in your room while staying there.

"You must have realised quite shortly afterwards that you were acting as his custodian of the drugs."

For the two offences Dibba was given a total of 18-months in prison, suspended for two years and she must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
