PEOPLE visiting Oxfordshire's newest attraction had a spring in their step over the weekend when the county's first trampoline park opened.

Rebound Revolution Trampoline Park has landed in Bicester after months of hard work from developers to transform an empty warehouse.

The new activity craze has been sweeping the country and finally Oxfordshire residents have their own park jammed full of inter-connected trampolines and adventurous activities to try out.

The trampoline park sprung into action,at its site in the Talisman Business Park, off London Road, on Friday and expected to attract scores of people over the weekend.

It boasts an impressive space with a number of trampolines, some beneath basket ball hoops and others at a tilt against the walls, as well as giant airbags for people to jump onto from tall platforms.

Co-director Matt Tofts described it as a 'mini theme park' which also includes a Wipe-Out-style giant rotating arm for people to duck and dive and a bouldering climbing wall.

He said: "I am just so excited, relieved and looking forward to it all.

"We had family and friends along before the opening and it was fantastic, everyone was saying exactly what we wanted to hear about how great it was and that they would definitely be coming back soon."

The new site is expected to bring about 35 jobs to the town.

In an online post Mr Tofts added: "The support from the Bicester community has been overwhelming.

"We have done our best to bring you a family entertainment centre for you all to enjoy and your support had been truly amazing.

"Thank you to everybody who has wished us well and offered your support it really means the world to us."
