SOME glamour was added to recycling as Miss Oxfordshire Layla Claridge helped promote a new museum exhibition.
The Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock is hosting Treasure from Trash, which looks at how materials can be transformed into useful and beautiful objects.
Miss Claridge wore a dress made from recycled material that she had made for the Miss Oxfordshire finals in June. The Charlbury resident said: “I have been trying to get involved in local groups and charities as much as possible so I was happy to go along and support the exhibition.”
Miss Claridge greeted visitors on Wednesday and talked about the exhibits and her experiences of the Miss Oxfordshire competition.
The 24-year-old also loaned the dress to the museum for use in the exhibition.
