TWO lanes are blocked on the M40 southbound after two cars collided between junction 11 near Banbury and junction 10 near Brackley.

Thames Valley Police spokesman Tom Jennings said police received a call just after 2.30pm about a collision between a blue Audi A4 and a white Peugeot van between junctions 10 and 11.

He added that no one was injured and that there was only damage to the two vehicles and nine uprights of the central reservation.

Mr Jennings said lanes two and three were blocked and traffic was slow due to the accident.
