A man is being hunted by police after an attempted robbery in Bicester.

The victim, a 55-year-old woman, was walking in Linden Road between 5.55pm and 6.05pm on October 29, when she was pushed by the offender.

He then demanded money and tried to pull rings from her fingers.

The woman was not injured during the incident.

Thames Valley Police has released an e-fit of the offender, and have urged any witnesses to come forward and contact them.

The man was described as white, around 6ft, slim, and in his late twenties.

He also had pale skin, medium length dark hair, blood shot eyes and acne scars on his cheeks.

He was wearing a dark zip up coloured top and possibly gloves.

Investigating officer PC Nathan Davis, from Bicester police station, said: “If you have any information about this incident or recognise the description of the offender then please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.”
