THERE’S STILL time to get into the Christmas spirit at Abingdon and Witney College with plans for two pop-up markets next month.
A four-day festive fair at the college’s Abingdon campus was so successful organisers already want to return next year and have planned two pop-up market dates for next month.
Hundreds of staff and students visited the market earlier this month.
Organiser Caroline Casey said: “It was very well attended. It was the first year I have done it at Abingdon and Witney College.”
“I have run a similar one before at Oxford Brookes and it did so well there I thought I should try it in Abingdon.
She added: “We had local bakers and a stall where everything was hand and machine sewed and hand knitted. The pop-up market will run on December 7 and 14 and then we will fix the dates for next year.”
