SEVEN firms have received a Queen's Award to recognise overseas success.
Milton Park-based Cobalt Light Systems, which invented a device to scan liquids at airports; Oxford University spin-out Isis Innovation; Osney Mead-based Lambdatek, which resells computer equipment; and Witney-based lighting firm Original BTC were among winners named today by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
The others were Abingdon pharmaceutical marketing company Oxford PharmaGenesis; Zigzag Associates, which provides quality assurance and auditing services; and Zinc Ahead, which supplies software systems.
