THE most pirated musician in Oxford is Ed Sheeran, according to new data.
Monitoring firm Musicmetric has revealed the artists that are illegally shared the most across the UK.
Ed Sheeran’s music is shared on average 175 times a month in Oxford. The 1970s rock band Yes are also popular.
Ed Sheeran, pictured, who last year won two Brit Awards, was also the most frequently shared artist in Bicester, Banbury, Witney and Wallingford. But Jessie J was the most illegally shared artist in Abingdon, where residents share her music on average 25 times a month.
The Kings of Leon were the most popular in Thame and Watlington, whilst the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival lead singer John Fogerty was the most shared in Didcot.
