THE winner of an Oxford Mail competition was busy spending his winnings this week.
Kevin Dale, 39, from Marston won a prize draw at the Oxford Mail’s Big Test Drive Weekend, held on June 23 and 24.
His name was picked by Oxford United players, including Jake Wright, from scores of people who received free test drives.
The painter and decorator won £500 worth of Tesco vouchers, which he has already been busy spending.
Mr Dale said: “It felt brilliant to win, it is the first thing I’ve ever won.
“It is mostly spent now, I split it with my girlfriend Becky Hardisty and so I needed a new mattress, she wanted a television and then I wanted a printer for my laptop too.
“So that was all ordered and we’re looking forward to receiving it.”
The Big Test Drive Weekend was held in conjunction with 26 car dealerships, including Bristol Street Motors in Oxford, Hartwell Ford in Banbury and Joblings Kia in Bicester.
