SCHOOL leavers from The Cooper School in Bicester put on their glad-rags to party the night away and celebrate the end of school.
A total of 170 students from the Churchill Road school attended the Year 11 prom at The Tythe Barn, Launton, last month.
Pupils arrived in an assortment of transport including a London Red Double Decker Bus, a vintage Rolls Royce, sports cars, stretch limousines and a motorcycle.
The school’s business manager Steve Cook said: “The most outstanding arrival however was an American Army Jeep complete with uniformed marine.
“The students were welcomed by staff from the school as well as a host of proud parents and there were probably about 5,000 photographs taken on the night.
“This is always a marvellous way for the students to end the year and represents a highlight of their time at The Cooper School. We look forward to seeing many of them back next year to enrol into our new sixth form facility.”
