FOUR Jack Russell puppies and their mother have been rehoused thanks to the Oxford Mail.

William Walker, who runs Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Jack Russell Rescue in Weston-on-the-Green, asked for help from our readers earlier this month.

The dogs’ owner was unable to look after them and was contemplating having them put down.

But since our article, Mr Walker said he had been “inundated” with 30 inquiries and has been driving around the county conducting interviews.

The mother will be rehomed today and homes have been lined up for the puppies – Bailey, Mosey, Paddy and Taffy – when they reach 10 weeks old next month.
