A FATHER-of-two was accused of murdering his wife and her mother in a violent knife attack while his three-year-old daughter slept in the same room.

Ensar Gol, right, had boasted on Facebook he was going to kill his wife and mother-in-law just hours before it happened, jurors at Oxford Crown Court heard yesterday.

Gol, of Ireton Court, Thame, denies murdering his 28-year-old wife Michala and her mother Julie Sahin, 50, and attempting to murder their 20-year-old friend Casey Wilson on September 4 last year.

Prosecuting barrister Dafydd Enoch said the scene that met paramedics who discovered their bodies was: “Like something from an X-rated horror film.”

After only six months of marriage, the court heard the relationship between the 22-year-old Turkish national and his wife, who had met while she was on holiday in Turkey, had deteriorated to such an extent that they had separated several times and had both had affairs.

Hours before the killings, Gol had arrived unannounced at the home of Wendy Hazell, a woman who he had had a one night stand with weeks earlier, and had sex with her.

Giving evidence in court Miss Hazell said the pair discussed his marriage problems, but said he was “courteous” and made no threats.

Mr Enoch told the court that in the hours leading up to the killings Gol had also logged on to the social networking site Facebook and exchanged messages with his brother.

Reading them out, Mr Enoch said: “I will cut the mother-in-law and the wife brother.

“Really it’s definite. Have a look all the English papers will talk about me tomorrow the crazy wolf Turkish Turk who covered London in blood.

“The knife is ready. You know I’m handy with a knife.”

The prosecution alleged shortly after 2am Gol, who worked in Italian restaurant Prezzo in Thame, returned to the house he shared with his wife, their two young children, and his parents-in-law.

He took a knife from the kitchen and went upstairs, the court heard.

Mr Enoch said: “He then attacked Michala with the knife, stabbing her repeatedly to the area of the neck. She desperately tried to protect herself with her arms and legs, but he was too strong.”

Mrs Sahin and her friend Casey Wilson were watching TV in the living room below and were unaware of the attack until they heard the victim’s muffled screams, Mr Enoch told the jury.

Michala’s mother ran to her aid, and then called her friend to help.

In the struggle all three women were stabbed in the neck but only Miss Wilson survived.

She told the court she thought she heard a muffled scream.

The Little Chef employee said that when she got into the bedroom she saw Gol on the bed over his wife.

After Mrs Sahin tried to drag Gol off her daughter, Miss Wilson grabbed him and in the scuffle fell to the floor where she was stabbed in the neck and the arm.

She told the court her survival instinct kicked in and she managed to escape, grabbing her phone to call 999, still unaware she had been stabbed.

Mr Enoch said: “The defendant then disappeared, extraordinarily taking his daughter with him. He picked her up and carried her out of the house.”

Gol then fled the scene and CCTV from Thame later showed him in the town centre clutching his daughter in one hand and a bloody knife in the other.

Eventually he handed the child to her grandfather at the pizza parlour where he worked and was arrested.

Under cross examination, defence barrister Richard Benson QC put it to Miss Wilson that Gol had not taken a knife into the bedroom but that his mother-in-law Miss Sahin had gone into the bedroom armed with a blade. Miss Wilson denied the allegation.

The trial continues.
