A MAN who fled the country to avoid a trial for making indecent images of children has admitted all charges.
Paul McKenzie, of no fixed abode, was set to face two charges of distributing and possessing indecent images of children but failed to show up at his trial at the court on September 9 2016.
The 46-year old fled to Czech Republic and was later caught while abroad and remanded back into custody to face the charges at Oxford Crown Court.
He had pleaded guilty to both counts at a hearing in October last year but denied a further count of possessing indecent photographs of a child for show.
Appearing via videolink McKenzie had a last minute change of heart and admitted the final count at the same court yesterday.
His ex-partner, Phoebe McKenzie, of Winterborne Close, Bicester was convicted last August of perverting the course of public justice by helping to fund him while he was at large and out of the country pending trial.
During those proceedings the court heard she paid him about £2,400 between September 8, 2016, and January 9, 2017.
He will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on January 16.
