THE amount of Wifi data passengers can use on Chiltern trains from Oxford to London has increased.

The rail firm said it had upped the allowance ahead of the opening of the line between Oxford and Oxford Parkway to provide an 'added incentive' for customers to use its services.

On December 12 Chiltern trains will run from Oxford station to London Marylebone twice an hour.

The allowance has been increased from 75MB to 125MB on long-distance trains between Birmingham, Oxford and London.

Commercial director Justin Baines said: "It provides even more opportunity for passengers to get things done, whether this be finishing a presentation and checking email during the working day or ordering groceries on the home commute to claim back family time.”
