A man used a lump of concrete to break into a school in Kidlington.
Police are appealing for witnesses after North Kidlington Primary School was burgled on Sunday at about 9.50pm.
Officers said a the burglar climbed over the gates at the front of the school and used a lump of concrete from the school bike shelter to break a window to the reception door.
He then entered the school and searched the front office before leaving by climbing over the fence at the back of the school.
He then walked into the car park of the Tesco adjacent to High Street.
No property was stolen from the school and no-one was injured.
The burglar is male, approximately 5ft 8in with a slim build. Police said he was wearing a tracksuit and trainers with distinctive reflective strip to the heel.
PC Liam Farrow, of Force CID Bicester, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who might have information which could help us with our investigation."
