GREAT & Little Tew, playing their first ever match in the top flight, thrashed Dinton and so sit proudly at the top of the table after all the other matches were washed out.
After the start was delayed by 45 minutes, Dinton were put in to bat and promptly dismissed inside 29 overs for just 78.
Tew's Tasmanian quickie Anthony Smith started as he means to go on by dismissing the visitors' opener Ashley Smith with the first ball of the match. Backed by some good slip catching, the Aussie made the most of the wet conditions, finishing with figures of 6-35.
At the other end, Lloyd Brock kept things tight, taking 3-25 in an impressive 11-over spell.
Reduced to 41-7, the visitors were grateful to No 9 Nathan Brooks, who top-scored with 11, so they could claim a second batting bonus point.
Steve Clayton then hit 33 and Tim Wyatt an unbeaten 25 as Tew passed the victory target in the 20th over for the loss of three wickets.
