A LOVE of anything electronic has driven Andrew Bloomfield’s career.

While at school he was always tinkering with car radios, so when he left a career in electronics was just up his street.

He has previously worked preparing studio mixing desks for the likes of Sting, and more recently kitted out classrooms in schools and colleges with modern audio visual equipment.

Earlier this month Mr Bloomfield, 52, of Ashby Road, Bicester, was the centre of a surprise party to present him with a 10-year long service award.

Mr Bloomfield said he liked the variety of his job and added: “I enjoy the tinkering with electronics – I started off repairing car radios when I was still at school.”

IAG Technology managing director Mario Terzino said: “Andrew is a great guy with a vast amount of technical expertise,so we wanted to make sure he felt valued by me and also my business partner Gary Wade.”

Father-of-two Mr Bloomfield was presented with a cheque for £250 and a Dartington Crystal cider glass.
