Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £20 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving for 21 months.

Liam Strutt, 21, of Wensum Crescent, Bicester, admitted driving whilst unfit through drugs in B4011, Upper Arncott, on February 11. Also admitted driving without due care and attention in B4011 on the same date. Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

David Ward, 46, of Nursery Drive, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Banbury on July 20. Given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Paul Wheeler, 38, of Newland Place, Banbury, admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £7 from Marks & Spencer in Banbury on April 28. Also admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £7 from Marks & Spencer in Banbury on the same date. Further admitted committing a further offence whilst subject to an order of conditional discharge. Fined a total of £105 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £20 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Kevin Wynne, 66, of Parklands, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Parklands, Banbury on July 17. Had 43 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving for 12 months.

David Hill, 42, of Levenot Close, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Broad Street, Banbury, on July 21. Fined £35, ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge, £20 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.

Charles Sawyer, 35, of Oxford Road, Gosford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Deddington, Banbury, on July 19. Also admitted assaulting a police officer in the execution of her duty in Market Place, Deddington, on the same date. Darren Evans, 39, of Hamilton Close, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Banbury on June 26. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on July 10 having been released on criminal proceedings from Banbury Police station on June 26. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Thomas Howells, 19, of Bloxham Road, Milcombe, near Banbury, admitted drink-driving on the A41 near Wendlebury on July 19. Had 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months, obligatory to the offence.

Jade Kelly, 25, of Causeway, Banbury, admitted possessing Ketamine and mephedrone, both Class B drugs, in Alma Road, Banbury, on June 26. Also admitted failing to attend a police assessment to establish whether or not she was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse a Class A drug, after police found traces of cocaine in her system on July 3. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £20 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Banned from driving or holding a driving licence for three years.
