OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Carla Dixey, 34, of Canal Way, East Challow, was convicted of stealing money and stock worth £1,000 from her employer, the Goodlake Arms pub in Challow, between June 20, 2014 and June 23, 2014. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £300 in compensation. Also ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £400 costs.

Scott Bearman-Brown, 38, of Oxford Road, Burford, admitted driving in Botley Road, Oxford, while using a mobile phone on September 3, 2014. Had his driving record endorsed with three points and fined £100. Also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Timothy Cook, 56, of Station Road, Chinnor, admitted drink-driving in Oakley Road, Chinnor, on April 26. Had 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without a valid test certificate and insurance during the same incident. Given a 22-month driving ban and fined £400. Also ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.

Paul Zeilinger, 41, of no fixed address, admitted failing to give a specimen of breath at Abingdon Police Station on May 9 when suspected of having committed a driving offence. Given a 24-month driving ban and fined £200. Also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.

Stuart Patterson, 32, of Daisy Bank, Abingdon, admitted sexually assaulting a woman by touching in Kiln Crescent, Chilton, on December 31, 2014. Given a community order to carry out 150 hours unpaid work and a restraining order not to contact the victim or visit Kiln Crescent. Also ordered to pay £550 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Colin White, 45, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two pairs of jeans worth £140 from a Debenhams store in Oxford on March 24. Given a community order to attend rehabilitation for up to 35 days. Also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Dean Gunning, 24, of Gavestone Road, Didcot, was convicted of assaulting a man by beating him in Didcot on December 15, 2014. Given a restraining order not to contact the victim and fined £140. Also ordered to pay £300 in compensation and £350 in costs.

Erikas Barkauskaz, 26,of Fairlie Road, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on February 3. Fined £125 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £700 costs.

Liam Williams, 18, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, admitted harassing a police community support officer by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or by disorderly behaviour in Abingdon on March 11. Made subject to a community order for a maximum of 20 days and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Gulfraz Khan, 36, of Howard Street, Oxford, admitted possession of cocaine, a Class A drug, in Howard Street on January 27. Also admitted possession of heroin, a Class A drug, on the same date. Fined a total of £150 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Calum Dawson, 23, of Radley Road, Abingdon, failed to leave Radley Road as required by an antisocial behaviour order he was subject to on March 1. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 16 after being released on bail. Fined a total of £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Claire Moores, 39, of Church Street, Didcot, admitted driving while using a mobile phone in North Way, Oxford on July 21. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Alexander Bolton, of Brumcombe Lane, Bayworth, Abingdon, admitted failing to provide Oxfordshire County Council with information on January 7 about who was driving a car in South Oxfordshire as required by a notice served under the Road Regulation Act 1984. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Peter Elrington, of Tichborne, Thame, convicted of failing to provide Oxfordshire County Council with information on March 5 about who was driving a car in High Street and Upper High Street in Thame as required by a notice served under the Road Regulation Act 1984. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £70 costs.

Simon Jackson, of Appleford, Abingdon, convicted of failing to provide Oxfordshire County Council with information on March 11 about who was driving a car in Abingdon as required by a notice served under the Road Regulation Act 1984. Fined £70 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

Claire Kaplics, of Leyburne Gardens, Chinnor, was convicted of of failing to supply Oxfordshire County Council with information relating to the identity of a driver alleged to have contravened a council road order on January 9. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £70 costs.

Omar Ali, 48, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £4.99 from a Tesco store in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on January 29. Also admitted stealing eight bottles of manuka honey worth £71.42 from a Tesco store in Oxford on February 3. Also admitted stealing four bottles of detergent worth £17.94 from a Co-op store in Oxford on February 2. Given a community order to attend alcohol rehabilitation for 20 days. Also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.

Rafal Salwa, 41, of Midwinter Avenue, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Potash Lane, Abingdon, on September 10, 2014. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £400. Also ordered to pay £40 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Peter Cox, 67, of Crowmarsh Gifford, convicted of driving a vehicle without care and attention in The Street, Wallingford on July 28. Also convicted of failing to stop after a road accident which caused injury to another person in The Street on the same date and failing to report the incident to police as soon as was reasonable. Sentenced to six months in prison suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £1,800 costs. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Simon Escott, 50, of Hatch Close, Kirtlington, convicted of speeding by driving faster than 30mph in a 30mph zone in Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney on September 28. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Matthew Taylor, 33, of Circourt Road, Denchworth, convicted of speeding at 50mph in a 40mph zone in Foxcombe Road, Boars Hill, on September 22. Fined £135 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Jordan Powell, of Glimbers Grove, Chinnor, was convicted of failing to providing Oxfordshire County Council with information about the identity of a driver alleged to have contravened a council roads order on February 11. Fined £70, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

Nigel Bint, of Windmill Place, East Challow, admitted failing to notify Vale of White Horse District Council of changes in his circumstances affecting his entitlement to Housing Benefit, namely that his wife was a dinner lady at Charlton Primary School in Wantage and also worked at Wantage Comrades Club between September 24, 2012 and September 8, 2014.

Also admitted failing to notify the council of the same facts which would affect his entitlement to Council Tax Benefit. Fined £420 and ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Frederick Sackey, of Challenor Close, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to provide the highways authority, Oxfordshire County Council with information relating to the identity of a driving alleged to have contravened the council’s road order, having been served with a written notice asking for said information on February 25. Fined £70 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

Simon Salamon, of John Mason Road, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to provide the highways authority, Oxfordshire County Council with information relating to the identity of a driving alleged to have contravened the council’s road order, having been served with a written notice asking for said information on January 14. Fined £70 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

Kate Walsh, of The Green, Culham, was convicted of failing to provide the highways authority, Oxfordshire County Council with information relating to the identity of a driving alleged to have contravened the council’s road order, having been served with a written notice asking for said information on February 18. Fined £70 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

Hosten Marshall, 51, of Queen Street, Abingdon, was convicted of driving without due care and attention on Ock Street in Abingdon on February 1. Also convicted of failing to stop at the scene of an accident on Ock Street on that date where damage was caused to another vehicle, namely paintwork scratches on the bumper. Also convicted of driving without a licence or insurance on that date. Pleaded not guilty to all charges but proved in absence. Fined a total of £400 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £500 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. Disqualified from driving until driving test passed.

Michael Doherty, 21, of Oakes View Park, Kidlington, admitted driving a vehicle while using a mobile phone in New Cross Road on October 1. Fined £100 and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

Joseph Winkley, of Polstead Road, Oxford, convicted of driving an unlicensed vehicle in the A40, Oxford, on November 24. Fined £200 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £24.17 and £90 costs.

Claire Eversfield, 36, of 78 Hill Crescent, Finstock, Chipping Norton, convicted of failing to ensure her child attended school between October 1 and March 10. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £1,000 costs.
