An all-male circus troupe is set to present its debut show at Oxford’s Playhouse.

Circus trio Barely Methodical Troupe is due to bring its award-winning show Bromance, directed by Frantic Assembly’s Eddie Kay, to the city on Friday and Saturday, May 29-30.

Audience members are told to get ready for awe-inspiring stunts, amusing mimes and daredevil displays.

Filled with humour, heart and impressive circus skills, Bromance comes to Oxford fresh from opening the London Mime Festival to sell-out crowds.

Following a Total Theatre Award-winning run at the Edinburgh Festival, this show is filled with an inventive mix of risk-taking feats of balance, flawless acrobatics, and stunning routines inside a spinning metal wheel.

These young, fit and highly-skilled performers wow their audiences with gravity-defying performances.

Barely Methodical Troupe met at the National Centre for Circus Arts, where they found a unique chemistry in their mix of skills.

These are Louis Gift’s free running and parkour, where a person vaults, climbs, and does acrobatic stunts off objects in their path instead of running around them.

Beren D’Amico’s martial arts and tricking and Charlie Wheeller’s breath-taking breakdancing and contortion combine to create a stunning show.

This is a thrilling night out so be prepared to gasp in delight at Britain’s hottest new circus ensemble.

The trio have taken their show to Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
